Kruger National Park

Two years ago we had one of our most memorable trips visiting Mozambique! To top it off, we took a day trip to Kruger National Park in South Africa, which was an amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience. We spent an entire day there, only seeing 10% of the whole park, and still saw so many beautiful animals, including 4/5 of the Big Five. I remember the anticipation of wondering what animals we’ll see next as we drove around various different landscapes and ecosystems. Breathtaking!

Kruger National ParkCrazy and cute vervet monkeys. They were one of my favorites! Joined by lots of baboons that weren’t afraid to climb over the cars stopped in the road… close your windows!

And then buffalo, Big Five #2. We also saw a rhino and a leopard, but we couldn’t capture them, and no lions– this time.

We also saw warthogs, hyena, kudu– a beautiful antelope species with twisted horns– which was one of my favorites. We sure hope to go back someday for more safari adventures!
