Travels

The pace starts to change at this point when there’s less planning and more doing. We’ve signed our lease, got our permits from the city to start build out, and now are getting those projects in line. After our last trip to Northern Europe, we weren’t expecting to go anywhere for the next couple years because of the shop. Yet a year later and approaching build-out, we’re finding ourselves getting tired— and we haven’t even...

As fall is coming and it’s [sometimes] getting colder here in Colorado,  I find myself missing the beach and endless California sunshine! San Diego is one of Ernest’s favorite cities, and last time we went, we took a bunch of our family out there, rented a house and had a blast. Seattle Mini-Trip I’m not much of a city person, but always enjoy exploring Seattle! So when my sweet friend had some buddy passes for us to use up, and my sis-in-law and her husband were in, it all made this last minute trip especially fun. Riding stand-by is an adventure in itself; we were waiting nervously to get on the plane, yet on both the first flight out and the first one back home, we got the last four seats remaining,...

Colorado Great Sand Dunes There’s nothing like grabbing a bunch of friends and heading out into the great outdoors. There’s also nothing like the thrill of exploring this beautiful earth in search of something you’ve never seen before. This winning combination continues to keep the Colorado Great Sand Dunes as one of my most memorable camping experiences. These massive sand dunes planted at the edge of a forest is as...
